NEW DELHI / KOLKATA, 01 July 2026 (CEV TECHNO NEWS): In a significant development for the valuation profession, State Bank of India (SBI) has issued a public notice inviting applications from competent, qualified professionals and valuation firms for empanelment as valuers under its Kolkata Circle.

The announcement offers an important opportunity for Registered Valuers, Chartered Engineers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors and other eligible valuation professionals, who satisfy the prescribed eligibility criteria, to become part of India’s largest public sector banking institution for undertaking valuation assignments.

According to the press release issued by SBI Local Head Office, Kolkata, the empanelled valuers will be entrusted with valuation assignments as and when required by the Bank. The detailed terms and conditions governing individual assignments shall be decided by the Bank at the time of allotment of work.

SBI has clarified that the present notification is only an invitation to offer from interested professionals and firms. The Bank retains the absolute right to accept or reject any application, wholly or partly, without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Eligible applicants are required to submit their applications in the prescribed format available on the SBI website. Applications should reach the nearest SBI business units/branches on or before 15 July 2026.
