FREE EYE CARE SERVICES AND TREATMENTS FOR NEEDY PATIENTS, INCLUDING FREE MEDICINES, GLASSES, SURGERIES, AND LENSES

Jalandhar, (04/12/2025): In a remarkable demonstration of social responsibility, the Digital Media Association (DMA) will be organizing a “Free Eye Medical Camp” on December 11, 2025, at Baawri Dharmshala, Mohalla No. 2, Jalandhar Cantt. The camp will run from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

With a commitment to serving humanity, this event is being led by prominent healthcare professionals including Dr. Anil Goel, Director of Health Services (ESI), Punjab, Dr. Rajesh Garg, Eye Specialist and Civil Surgeon of Jalandhar, and Dr. Jyoti Sharma, MS, ESI Hospital. The camp will offer free eye examinations by leading ophthalmologists Dr. Arun Verma (SMO, ESI Hospital, Jalandhar) and Dr. Gurpreet Kaur (SMO, Eye Mobile Unit, Jalandhar).

In a collaborative effort to provide comprehensive care, several notable organizations are contributing to the success of this initiative. Sanjeev Nagpal of M/S Nagpal Medicous and Rahul Nagpal of M/S Rahul Mediworld will be providing free eye drops and essential medications to the patients. Furthermore, Swinder Singh Khattar from M/S Cantt Optical Point will be distributing eyeglasses free of cost to economically disadvantaged patients.

Patients with cataracts (white spots on the eyes) will be provided with free surgeries at the Civil Hospital, Jalandhar, along with free lenses, ensuring a life-changing experience for many.

The DMA leadership, including President Aman Bagga, Chairman Ajeet Singh Buland, General Secretary Jaswinder Singh Azad, and In-charge of Jalandhar Cantt Harsharan Singh Chawla, has urged the public to take advantage of this incredible opportunity for free medical care. They have invited all local residents to benefit from the camp and enhance their eye health.

Other key figures supporting the event include Pradeep Verma, Patron of DMA, Senior Vice Presidents Sumeesh Sharma and Neetu Kapoor, PRO Dharaminder Sondhi, Chief of Screening Committee Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Consultant Amarpreet Singh, Secretaries Mohit Sekhri, Ankit Bhaskar, IT Head Er.
