ORGANIZING A WEBINAR ON
ETHICS AND INTEGRITY – STEPPING STONES TO SUCCESS AND SUSTAINABILITY
ON 3RD JUNE 2022
Consulting Engineers Association of India (CEAI), the Apex body of Consulting Engineers in India, and the Member Association of FIDIC (Fédération Internationale Des Ingénieurs-Conseils), i.e., the International Federation of Consulting Engineers, in India, is organizing a webinar on ‘Ethics and Integrity – Stepping Stones to Success and Sustainability’ to advocate ethical practices amongst the consulting engineering fraternity, and stress on the indispensability of adopting and abiding by them for the success and longevity of their practice. The webinar will be held on 3rd June 2022, 4.00 pm to 5.45 pm IST.
CEAI, guided by the principles and functioning of FIDIC and as per its own Aims & Objectives, has striven over its sixty years of service to the Engineering Consulting industry, to improve the quality of engineering services provided by consulting engineers in India. It has been doing so by conducting capacity-building workshops, training programs, and seminars. In order to enhance the credibility of the consulting engineering profession, CEAI also periodically reiterates its Code of Ethics since that serves as the framework and direction document for the consulting engineers in India.
Justice Gita Mittal (R), Fmr Chief Justice, J&K High Court, and Fmr Acting Chief Justice Delhi High Court will deliver the Keynote address. Eminent Speakers from the consulting industry, FIDIC, and ASCE will be the Panel Speakers. Refer to the Flyer attached.
Starting with the need to lay a solid foundation in Ethics and Integrity, the webinar will seek to examine the relationship between them and establish their immense value to an Engineering Consultancy Entity. Subsequently, why and how the Entity should encourage and promote Ethics and Integrity shall be examined, along with the vital need for them to be the stepping stones to achieve success and sustainability in a business – with examples.
The webinar would be of immense benefit, both in India and abroad, to various Stakeholders and Professionals, Clients from Governments (Central & State), Authorities, Bodies and Private entities, Engineering Consultants and Contractors and the Public at large, who will all be provided an opportunity to interact with the speakers.
