POLICY FOR ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP AND ISSUING ANNEXURE VIII / ANNEXURE J FOR BANK EMPANELMENTS
Council of Engineers & Valuers (CEV Group) में Active Membership का अर्थ केवल membership certificate रखना या membership fee जमा करना नहीं है। इसका अर्थ है कि member Organisation के साथ continuously connected, professionally active, compliant and committed रहे।
Active Membership का उद्देश्य Professional Learning, CPD, Ethical Conduct, Participation, Knowledge Sharing और Continuous Development को बढ़ावा देना है।
1. ACTIVE PARTICIPATION & PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT
सक्रिय भागीदारी एवं Professional Engagement
Active Members को CEV Group की professional activities में यथासंभव सक्रिय रूप से participate करना चाहिए, जैसे:
- Meetings, Seminars, Conferences एवं Webinars;
- Local Chapter activities;
- Training एवं CPD programmes;
- Professional discussions एवं knowledge-sharing;
- Organisational initiatives एवं volunteering;
- Official social-media एवं digital activities.
Member को CEV की activities, educational programmes और professional developments से reasonably connected रहना चाहिए।
Active Membership means active professional engagement, not merely holding a membership certificate.

2. COMPLIANCE, CONDUCT & RESPONSIBILITY
नियम, अनुपालन, आचरण एवं जिम्मेदारी
हर member को CEV के Constitution/Bye-laws, Rules & Regulations, Membership Policies, CPD requirements, Code of Conduct तथा समय-समय पर जारी instructions/circulars का पालन करना होगा।
Member से अपेक्षा है कि वह:
Integrity • Professionalism • Discipline • Respect • Confidentiality • Responsibility • Ethical Conduct
बनाए रखे और fellow professionals, Governing Body, Office Bearers, Committees तथा authorised representatives के साथ professional एवं respectful व्यवहार करें।
Members को assigned responsibilities पूरी करनी चाहिए, required information/documents समय पर देने चाहिए और abusive, threatening, defamatory या disrespectful communication से बचना चाहिए।
3. MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL, DUES & GENERAL COMPLIANCE
सदस्यता नवीनीकरण, शुल्क एवं अनुपालन
Membership/Renewal fees तथा अन्य applicable dues का timely payment आवश्यक है।
Members को पूरे financial year में अपने:
Membership • Renewal • Dues • Documents • Required Compliance
को updated रखना चाहिए।
Organisation समय-समय पर Active Membership status review कर सकता है और deficiency होने पर dues clearance, documents, information, clarification या अन्य applicable compliance की मांग कर सकता है।
4. CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)
निरंतर Professional Learning एवं Development
Valuation, Engineering, Real Estate, Taxation, Banking, IBC, Laws, Case Laws, Valuation Standards एवं regulatory requirements में लगातार बदलाव होते रहते हैं। इसलिए members को अपने professional knowledge एवं skills को continuously update करना चाहिए।
Minimum Requirement
A minimum of 12 CPD Score Points per Financial Year is required for Active Membership Compliance.
CPD का उद्देश्य केवल points collect करना नहीं, बल्कि professional competence, knowledge और practical understanding को improve करना है।
5. SOCIAL MEDIA & DIGITAL PROFESSIONAL PARTICIPATION
सोशल मीडिया एवं Digital Professional Participation
Professional learning अब physical programmes तक सीमित नहीं है। YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp एवं अन्य recognised digital platforms भी continuous professional learning के महत्वपूर्ण माध्यम हैं।
Members को CEV के official digital platforms से connected रहकर:
WATCH → LEARN → THINK → COMMENT → SHARE → GROW
की भावना के साथ professional knowledge, awareness और useful information प्राप्त एवं share करने के लिए encourage किया जाता है।
Digital CPD Credit
1 CPD Point = Every 5 Eligible Professional Posts / Comments / Shares
Activities genuine professional learning, awareness या knowledge sharing से संबंधित होनी चाहिए।
Special YouTube Provision
Official CEV Group YouTube Channel पर किसी professional/educational video को 15 minutes से अधिक देखने, meaningful professional comment करने और comment में अपना name mention करने पर eligible participation को:
1/5 CPD Point माना जा सकता है, subject to verification and applicable CEV CPD policy.
5 eligible videos × 1/5 CPD = 1 CPD Point
केवल “Nice”, “Good”, emoji या meaningless/repetitive comments eligible नहीं होंगे।
इस provision का उद्देश्य additional burden डालना नहीं, बल्कि members में regular professional learning की habit develop करना है।

6. ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP & ANNEXURE VIII / ANNEXURE J
Bank Empanelment हेतु Compliance
Bank/Financial Institution empanelment के लिए Annexure VIII / Annexure J या अन्य membership confirmation जारी करते समय CEV member की current Active Membership and compliance status verify कर सकता है।
आवश्यकतानुसार निम्न matters verify किए जा सकते हैं:
Membership/Renewal • CPD • Dues • Documents • Professional Conduct • Other Applicable Compliance
केवल past membership या membership certificate होने से Annexure VIII / Annexure J की automatic entitlement नहीं बनती।
यदि applicable requirements pending हैं, तो document issue को compliance complete होने तक defer किया जा सकता है।
Members को bank empanelment की last date का इंतजार किए बिना पूरे वर्ष compliance maintain करना चाहिए।
7. MISREPRESENTATION, REVIEW & POLICY AMENDMENT
गलत प्रस्तुतीकरण, Review एवं Policy में संशोधन
कोई member स्वयं को Active Member तब तक represent नहीं करेगा जब तक उसका current status applicable CEV requirements के अनुसार active/compliant न हो।
CEV द्वारा जारी certificate, Annexure या अन्य official document को alter, misuse या misrepresent नहीं किया जाना चाहिए।
CEV Group prevailing circumstances, regulatory requirements, banking requirements, professional developments एवं administrative needs के अनुसार policy को समय-समय पर:
Modify • Amend • Supplement • Update कर सकता है।
Members को हमेशा latest applicable CEV policy, circular या notification का reference लेना चाहिए।
IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO CEV MEMBERS
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP IS NOT ONLY ABOUT PAYING MEMBERSHIP FEES.
यह एक CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL COMMITMENT है।
