Jalandhar, December 23 (CTN PRESS) – Today, the annual meeting of the Punjab Press Club was held at the Desh Bhagat Memorial Hall. First of all, 62 journalists were killed in the Israel-Hamas war and 11 journalists were killed in the Russia-Ukraine war, and in addition, journalists who were members of the Punjab Press Club and other prominent journalists of Punjab, who have passed away this year, was paid tribute by keeping a two minute silence.

After this, Punjab Press Club President Satnam Singh Manak presented a report on the activities of the Punjab Press Club in 2023 and the work to be done by the Governing Council of the Press Club in the future, which was unanimously accepted by the regular members present in the meeting. accepted.
The General Meeting of the Press Club was held under the collective chairmanship of the office bearers of the Governing Council, President Satnam Singh Manak, Senior Vice President Rajesh Thapa, General Secretary Manoj Tripathi, Treasurer Shiv Kumar Sharma, Vice President Mandeep Sharma, Secretary Meher Malik and Joint Secretary Rakesh Suri.
