BABA FARID COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (BFCET) ORGANISED INDUSTRIAL VISIT FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING STUDENTS

BATHINDA (TECHNO REPORTER) 07/10/2024: The Department of Civil Engineering at Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology, Bathinda is excited to announce a successful Industry Exposure Visit to Ambuja Cement, Bathinda, organized in collaboration with the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on 3rd October 2024.

The 3rd semester students had an enriching experience, learning about the entire cement manufacturing process, including:

• Preparation of Cement 
• Batching of Cement 
• Packing Cement in Bags 
• Standards Compliance as per Indian Standards (IS)

The visit gave students hands-on exposure to industrial practices, focusing on quality control, environmental sustainability, and the latest innovations in the cement industry. Through this initiative, our future engineers gained valuable insights into real-world applications of civil engineering principles.
