MANY PROMINENT ENGINEERS, ARCHITECTS & VALUERS ATTENDED THIS EVENT

PATIALA 04/05/2024 (Bureau Reporter): The quarterly educational meeting of the Royal Patiala Chapter was held 4th May 2024 (Saturday) At 11.00 am at Hotel Patiala Grand, Passi Road, Near Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib Patiala from 11.00 AM to 4.30 PM. 20 Prominent valuers from different parts of Punjab and Haryana participated actively in the meeting/Seminar which lasted for 5 hours.

Ar Amit Gupta nicely presented 2 PPTs for improving the knowledge and updating the working of Valuers. Reluctance to identity bonds demanded by banks at the time of Empennalment was also agreed upon unanimously. Er RK Verma Secy and AR Lokesh Gupta welcomed all the members. 

Fun games with 11 gifts and 3 punctuality awards made this meet interesting, Educative and Charming. All the members enjoyed the hospitality of the Organisers and thanked them for a well-organised event
Members including 9 RVs took active participation in the meeting. The main agenda of the meeting was Gen discussion on Valuations performed by fellow members including finding Solutions to various problems faced by fellow valuers & developing social unity among the various professionals who are members of the same society & strengthening the roots of the organization.

Ar. Lokesh Gupta Chairman and Er. R. K. Verma Secretary welcomed and greeted all the members. 6 faculties Er. S.K. Malhotra, Er. P.S. Virdi, Ar. Amit Gupta, Er. Ajay Koushal, Er. R.K. Verma and Ar. Lokesh Gupta presented their Lectures on the topics of Buildings maintenance, Problems faced by Valuers, Township planning, Structural safety and consideration of the age of the building while doing valuations, Ethics and Code of conduct, and Solutions to Problems of Valuers with banks.

A Core Committee comprises of Ar. Lokesh Gupta, Er. R.K. Verma, Er. Gautam Modi, Er. Davinder Jain, and Er. Lakshdeep Puri was constituted to resolve the issues faced by Diploma holders Valuers and other grievances of Valuers with the banks and other concerned.

4 CEP points to the RVs and 6 CPD points will be awarded to all the participants & Valuers by the CEV Headquarters Jalandhar.

Certificates of 6CPD points to all CEVians and allowing of 4CEP points to All RVs were distributed for the attendees of the 20th Jan 2024 meeting.A similar Incentive will be provided to all the attendees for today’s meeting/Seminar.

Seminar/Meeting was started by reciting Gayatri Mantra and the National Anthem was recited at the end. The Seminar/Meeting of 5 hrs durations was concluded with a delicious lunch and a vote of thanks to the organizers for conducting the well-organized Event.

All the Valuers were advised to show solidarity among all. As per the guidelines of CEV HQS Valuers were suggested to do social work. Ethics of valuations were also suggested to be kept in mind while doing valuations and dealing with Bank officials. 20 active Valuers participated in the meeting. Various valuable tips were shared in the meeting.

The meeting concluded with thanks to all participants for attending and with the delicious lunch.
