Following the filing of public interest litigation in the high court related to fire safety norms, the Ahmedabad fire safety department issued notices to 45 commercial properties.
However, 18 of these properties have not complied with the norms though several notices were issued to them.
The fire department has lodged complaints against these properties in the Ahmedabad metropolitan court, a statement from Ahmedabad Fire and Emergency Services (AFES) said on Friday.
