Baroda Asset Management India has appointed Suresh Soni as chief executive officer with effect from August 3, 2021.Soni is a seasoned asset management professional with over 25 years of experience spanning across investment and business management. He has worked with start-ups as well as global giants and across retail as well as institutional clients. In his prior roles, Soni worked for around 15 years at Deutsche Asset Management. Recently, he was CEO at Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors, one of the largest alternative asset managers in the country.Sanjiv Chadha, MD and CEO,, said in a release: “Soni’s vast experience in managing investments as well as businesses will complement our existing capabilities.
