Blackstone India ex-MD Neeraj Mohan joins EY-Parthenon

Neeraj Mohan, former managing director and operating partner at private equity fund Blackstone, India, has joined advisory firm EY. At EY, he will head the India operations of EY-Parthenon (EY-P), the strategy consulting arm of EY.

Worked for about 10 years with Blackstone India, Neeraj Mohan had been involved in Blackstone’s investments in Aadhar Housing Finance, Comstar Automotive Technologies, Gateway Rail Freight, International Tractors, NCC Limited, and SONA BLW Limited. He currently serves on the boards of Comstar Automotive and Aadhar Housing Finance.

He has also worked as the vice president of

Limited, vice president of generic strategy and alliances – Clinton Foundation and as an associate of McKinsey & Company.

Neeraj, a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, also holds a post graduate diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

EY-P has been working with corporate and private equity clients, helping them to develop turnaround strategies, pricing strategies, and advising clients on optimizing their asset portfolios. As a commercial due diligence advisor to PE clients, EY-P has been involved in transactions in education, technology, infrastructure, retail and education sectors in India.
