MORE THAN 30 COMPANIES RECRUITED GNA UNIVERSITY’S COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENTS DURING PANDEMIC

JALANDHAR APRIL-19 (VAIBHAV BANSAL BUREAU CHIEF): The COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted every aspect of our lives. Even before the onset of the crisis, the social and economic integration of young people was an ongoing challenge. Coronavirus pandemic brought the economy of India to a halt over the past year, and numerous people have lost their jobs. A recent study found that in eight months, the unemployment rate in the national capital increased by 17%, A similar trend has been observed throughout the country.

But on the positive side, GNA University takes a lead in this pandemic by preparing skilled students during this crisis and as a result, more than 30 companies recruited Computer Science and Engineering students at a minimum package of 4 LPA and at the maximum package of 10 LPA.

The selected students were already trained in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Internet of Things, Data Analytics, etc. by the GNA University. GNA University has MoUs with Palo Alto, Amazon Web Services, Oracle, IBM, etc., to enhance the skills in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, IoT, and Data Analytics. Companies like, Byju’s, HCL, Ethnus, Mphasis, Collabera, Xenon Stack, Wipro, Xoriant, Hanu, Keka, Nagaroo, XL Dynamics, Chicmic, Venove software, etc are some few names which recruited GNA’s students.


Dr. Vikrant Sharma (Dean Engineering) congratulated all the students and the whole department for these wonderful achievements. He said “GNA University is committed to providing the best quality technical education”.

Dr. V.K. Rattan, Vice-Chancellor, GNA University also congratulated the students and faculty members. He said, GNA is an industry-driven University and our key focus is on skill development.
