A MEETING OF THE INDORE CHAPTER OF CEV WAS HELD ON 10/01/2023
MANY PROMINENT ENGINEERS, VALUERS & ARCHITECTS ATTENDED THIS EVENT
INDORE-10/01/2023 (TECHNO REPORTER): On the occasion of the New Year a monthly meeting of the INDORE CHAPTER was held at the Vijay Nagar, Indore on the 10th of January 2023 at 5.00 PM.
This event was attended by various prominent Engineers, Architects & Valuers of the nearby areas under the able guidance of Er. Ajay Kumar Shukla (Chairman) from CEV Local Chapter.
Indore is the largest and most populous city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It serves as the headquarters of both the Indore District and the Indore Division. It is also considered an educational hub of the state and is the only city to encompass campuses of both the Indian Institute of Technology and the Indian Institute of Management. Located on the southern edge of the Malwa Plateau, at an average altitude of 553 meters (1,814 ft) above sea level, it has the highest elevation among the major cities of Central India.
The city is 190 km (120 mi) west of the state capital of Bhopal. Indore had a census-estimated 2011 population of 1,994,397 (municipal corporation) and 3,570,295 (urban agglomeration). The city is distributed over a land area of just 530 square kilometers (200 sq mi), making Indore the most densely populated major city in the central province.
Indore is the cleanest city in India according to Swachh Survekshan Report 2022 sixth time in a row, conducted by MoHUA the world’s largest urban sanitation and cleanliness survey.
Indore traces its roots to its 16th-century founding as a trading hub between the Deccan and Delhi. The city and its surroundings came under Maratha Empire on 18 May 1724 after Peshwa Baji Rao I assumed full control of Malwa. During the days of the British Raj, Indore State was a 19 Gun Salute (21 locally) princely state (a rare high rank) ruled by the Maratha Holkar dynasty, until they acceded to the Union of India. Indore served as the capital of the Madhya Bharat from 1950 until 1956.
Indore’s financial district, based in central Indore, functions as the financial capital of Madhya Pradesh and is home to the Madhya Pradesh Stock Exchange.
The main agenda of the meeting was to celebrate New Year & the reinstallation of the Local Chapter & Gen discussion on Valuations performed by fellow members including finding Solutions to various problems faced by fellow valuers & develop social unity among the various professionals who are members of the same society & strengthen the roots of the organization.
It was decided to transfer the responsibility of the office to the new representatives on a yearly rotation basis. The new team was elected wholeheartedly by the members present in the meeting.

Gen Body Meeting of CEV Local Chapter held on 10/01/2023 Tuesday at 5.00 PM at Indore City. Many members including architects and engineers attended the meeting
Following matters discussed:-
1) Valuations assigned to members by banks.
2) Appointment of one legal counsel who will handle legal challenges faced by valuers.
3) Solution of Problems faced by fellow valuers day to day.
4) Re-strcture & reinstallation of CEV Chapter.

The noninations for the members were collected & rest of the team & Council members will be elected in the next forthcoming meeting of the chapter.
The team also initiated the green plantation drive in the city. All CEV members were requested to motivate the residents of various housing colonies to plant & protect a maximum number of trees in & around the colonies.
The meeting is Presided over by detailed discussions and ended with a vote of thanks by Chairman Er. Ajay Kumar Shukla & Governing Council members were given the responsibility to serve the organization for the next tenure on a voluntary basis.
The appointment letters on behalf of the CEV Core Committee will be delivered in a forthcoming event to the newly appointed team of the Local Chapter by worthy President Dr. Rajwinder Singh.
