CEV TODAY SENT A LETTER OF PROTEST TO THE SBI CHAIRMAN REQUESTING FOR RECALL OF E-CIRCULAR NO. SL.NO.575/2021-22 DATED 09.09.2021
TECHNO JOURNALIST JALANDHAR: Dr Rajwinder Singh President of Council of Engineers & Valuers (the most popular, youngest, dynamic & charitable organization working for welfare & professional upliftment of Engineers & Valuers in India serving the nation) told today in a special interview that “The minimum Fees for “A” Category Valuer (i.e. Government Registered Valuer) was Rs.2500/- plus out of pocket expenses, taxes as applicable as per above handbook published in 2011. Now 10 years have already passed, hence as per the inflation index {CII 184(IN 2011) & 317 (IN 2021)} we request SBI to increase the minimum fees as Rs. 4,500/- (aprox) plus out of pocket expenses, taxes as applicable & further as per Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, and Wealth Tax Act 1957, Section 34 AB as mentioned.”
He requested all Valuers professionals & organizations to come forward on this issue to support us on this issue which is directly related to our livelihood & survival existence.
On the special request of all the stakeholders of this ecosystem, he has agreed to publish these letters for the sake of the betterment of the profession.
Dr Rajwinder further added that “We request SBI to recall e-circular no. SL.No.575/2021-22 dated 09.09.2021 as soon as possible and rather link the professional fee of the valuer with the inflation index. Hope SBI Chairman will take the appropriate steps to implement the above requests to give quality professional advice to the Bank authorities to reduce NPA and to increase the quality credit portfolio of the Bank”.
