The MCA has issued some circulars/notifications on March 18, 2021 regarding various amendments, are as follows:

1.       The Central Government hereby established a Central Scrutiny Center for carrying out scrutiny of Straight Through Processes (STP) e-forms filed by Companies. The notification shall come into force from March 23, 2021.

2.       The MCA has notified the Companies Amendment Act, 2020 published on September 28, 2020.

3.       The MCA has made amendment in Schedule V of the Companies Act, 2013 regarding the maximum limit in Director Remuneration. As per the circular if any Company has no profits or its profits are inadequate, it may pay remuneration to other Directors i.e. Non-Executive Directors or Independent Directors along with the Managerial Persons as per limit prescribed in the circular.
