ALLAHABAD HIGH COURT: B.TECH, BCA CANDIDATES WILL QUALIFY FOR SUGARCANE SUPERVISOR POST EVEN WITHOUT CCC CERTIFICATE

Allahabad HC said that if a candidate has passed the course of B. Tech or BCA with computer science subjects then he or she will be qualified even if he or she does not hold the CCC certificate. CCC stands for Course on Computer Concept Certificate.

The judgement came by a Single-Judge Bench of Justice Chandra Dhari Singh on a plea filed on behalf of Mohit Kumar and others.

The court delivered the verdict while rejecting an order passed by Sugarcane officer in which he said that the candidates doing Computer courses equivalent to CCC certificate are not eligible to acquire the post of Sugarcane Supervisor.

The certification provided by CCC is an expertise in the computer science field which, as matter of fact, is nothing but a most preliminary knowledge of the computing area. Further, it can be said that need of the employer was to have the pupil at least with least knowledge of basic computing concepts and the person who is applying for the post must be computer literate, the Court said.
