2ND PRIZE WINNER-“ENERGY CONSERVATION OF BUILDING DESIGN “

Now a days Population is more in India. When the population are increase, the
environmental issue are more increase. Pollution are created more and more in world
by the population and also we can say that economically goods are less
Un satisfactions. People have less facilities to develop our own like lighting
less,energy is not consumed by increase the population. Throughout the deforestation
environment is effected. SO as we are engineer our motive is save our environment
and provide that facilities which is not provide to people.
We use bicycle more rather than cars, motor cycle which are produce more harmful
gases these are less used. So in every educational institute environment subject is
compulsory , in a week one day delivered the lecture by the professor of environment
to the students of collage , school .when they attend the lecture students are aware of it.
As an engineer our motive to save environment so people provide good facilities .some
points as follows:
1 Consultation of energy simulation
2 Building envelope
3 Lighting and controls
4 Orientation
1. Consultation of energy simulation – Increase the population economic &lighting
system are loss, so we conserved the energy by provide the lighting of rural area
afterwards that area where energy is loss. We use solar panels consume the energy &
provide the electricity. Air conditioner and other cooler are less used ,when we use of
that things it collect the carbon dioxide inner of buildings & oxygen is not provide
because when air conditioner is on the doors and windows are closed and people can’t
have purely fresh air . At the top floor where sunrays is more so that area we wash the
place through water. So water is evaporate & feel is good in summer season & we
cannot use conditioner system & also cooler we use our method to consume the
energy.
2.Building envelope – As a Architect & engineering we construct the building of that way
that radiation is more coming/light is more coming but strong sun rays are not coming
.we constructed the doors and buildings of that way light are less used in winter season
we easily comfort in buildings that sun rays are coming but in summer season sun rays
are not coming .we construct the buildings of that way .By enveloping of it energy is
consume .

3. Light & control – As a engineer way in houses & other buildings. We glass instead of
walls ,glass is not used very thin, it is used of thick glass that lighting is coming but
strong sun rays are coming afterwards we can’t switch on the lights &one thing more
glass is very effecting, This type of glass decorate our buildings or home we use
different method that that outside of glass we create a garden & flowers pot .Radiation
of strong are not coming ,lighting are coming &that’s why we control the lighting . By
ECBC all the fundamental aspects are write that how to save our environment.
4. Orientation –As a engineering way building orientation is more important in it.
Building is oriented, how to orientation of building that energy is consumed .where the
side of sun is raised the building of front view is not constructed, because when we
orient that way, the sun-rays are coming at the phase of building. In summer season
sunrises is in east in morning & evening time it passed the west. In winter season, sun
is less visible through the fog so it rise late .so that direction we kept in mind that how to
oriented our buildings &energy is consumed &our environment is safe, that oxygen is
more provide instead of carbon dioxide.
