पत्रकार (Journalist) के कार्य-
एक पत्रकार का काम बहुत ही चुनौतीपूर्ण होता है। उसको टेररिस्ट अटैक, बढ़, तूफान,आदि की रिपोर्टिंग करनी होती है। मीडिया सरकार के काम- काज पर भी नजर रखती है।
एक पत्रकार के मुख्य कार्य न्यूज़ एकत्र करने के लिए फील्ड पर जाना होता है। फिर उस न्यूज़ को कंप्यूटर पर लिखना होता है। जिसके बाद वह न्यूज़, समाचार, टेलीविजन, रेडियो, न्यूज़ पोर्टल के माध्यम से हम लोगो तक पहुचती है। एक न्यूज में कैमरामैन, फोटोग्राफर, एडिटर आदि का योगदान होता है।
जॉर्नलिस्ट की सैलरी एक आम जॉर्नलिस्ट को शुरुआती सैलेरी 8 हजार से 20 हजार रुपये प्रतिमाह तक मिल सकती है। वो कैंडिडेट के टैलेंट पर निर्भर करता है। अनुभव होने के बाद आपको लाखो रुपये सैलेरी मिल सकती है।

यंहा पर आपकी जान जोखिम में रहती है। आपको बड़े- बड़े क्रिमिनल डाकू, बेइमान और भस्टाचारी नेताजी के खिलाफ भी लिखना होता है। आपको भयंकर सर्दी, बाढ़, आदि कठिन परिस्थितियों में काम करना पड़ सकता है।
इसलिए अगर आप मानसिक और शारिरीक दोनो रुप से तैयार हैं, तभी इस फील्ड में कदम रखे।कुछ journalist ऐसे भी होते हैं, जो लोग रुपये लेकर न्यूज़ को दवा देते है। ऐसा बिल्कुल न करें। मीडिया समाज का आईना है। समाज में ब्याप्त भस्टाचार को उजगार करने की आपकी नैतिक जिम्मेदारी है। नही तो एक दिन लोगों का आपसे भरोसा हट जाएगा।
